For several years now Brno has been famed for its perfect café infrastructure, it is not called the Czech Mecca of coffee for nothing. Everyone can find their perfect cup of coffee here with possibilities ranging from roaster shops to espresso bars and even a coffee festival. However, the cafés are being rivalled by ice cream parlours, which can now be found on almost every corner.

We have chosen some interesting news from the Brno world of coffee and ice cream. A new QB coffee roasters café has opened in the actual rowing club grounds. In addition to roasting coffee, which is supplied to many local establishments, they organize coffee courses, import coffee accessories and, of course, make excellent coffee. The “Ještě jednu (Another One)” brand ice cream is probably known throughout the whole of Brno. There is no wonder why, it is sold in cups almost everywhere, and during the lockdown, it was delivered all the way to people’s homes. Nonetheless, at the end of April a new minimalist ice cream parlour in the city centre opened, offering not only tried and tested products but also some new delicacies.
