A new perspective. This is the theme of this year’s Theatre World Brno Festival, which should be held from May 20th to 25th.  Having become an important international showcase of theatrical plays, the event ranks among the three largest theatre festivals in the Czech Republic.

This year’s theme of the festival reflects life, which has fundamentally changed with the outbreak of the global pandemic. Has this pandemic narrowed our view of the world down to the size of our apartment window or a computer monitor, or has it astonishingly expanded it? What is certain is that the perspective that this experience has opened up is new and raises a number of questions about the shape of our future. Are we willing to accept this new perspective and start looking for answers? That’s up to all of us… For up-to-date information about the festival, programme or tickets, please visit the festival’s Facebook profile.
