We look forward to jointly creating something really unique in Zbrojovka,“ says Pavel Stratil, the INDUSTRA founder. Photo: INDUSTRA

After a long eight years, the Brno INDUSTRA hub moved from the refrigerating plant in Masná Street to the premises of Nová Zbrojovka in Židenice. At this new address you will find the whole creative centre, including an art gallery, theatre, residential space, makerspace, incubator and a café.

The move took place with the participation of dozens of volunteers at the end of February under the auspices of CPI Property Group. The goal shared with the developer is to transform the scarcely used brownfield of the former Zbrojovka plant into a modern well-developed quarter. Miroslav Pekník, Director of CPI PG Development in Brno, considers INDUSTRA to be one of the most important creative hubs in the Czech Republic. „Within a few days, we have found so much in common with the people from CPI Property Group that we have come to perceive our move on both sides as a great opportunity for the whole of Brno,“ says Pavel Stratil, the INDUSTRA founder, concluding: „We look forward to jointly creating something truly unique in Zbrojovka.“

Online Programmes Offered by Museums and Galleries

Even these days there are still several ways to enjoy art. The first one is the online collections that museums and galleries offer. So from the comfort of your own home you can admire, for example, the digitized painting Head of Medusa, which returned to the Moravian Gallery in Brno this March.
